How to Look Up an Individual Case in Probate Data

Start a New Search

Log in to your account and click on New Search.
Select the state (e.g., California) and click Continue.
If you know the filing date range, input it; otherwise, choose the current year or go back about a year to start.

Enter the Case Number

On the search results page, click Modify Filters on the right-hand side.
Expand the Case Information section to locate the Case ID field.
Paste or type the case number (same as the Case ID) into the field.

Search for the Case

Click Search to display the case details.
The specific case matching the entered number will appear in the results.

Summary: Use the case number (or Case ID) to quickly find individual case details by entering it under the Modify Filters section during a new search. This allows precise targeting of records when you know the courthouse-assigned case number.
